Tourism
Lausanne Tourisme is at the service of participants and accompanying persons wishing to extend their stay in our region. They can choose from numerous excursions. Here are a few examples:
- City tour of Lausanne including trip to a vineyard and/or museum visit (Olympic Museum, collection of art brut, etc.)
- Château de Chillon and Montreux
- Gianadda Foundation in Martigny
- Montreux and the Rochers-de-Naye
- Gstaad with the Goldenpass – a “Belle Époque” train
- Jura, Vallée de Joux, Gros-de-Vaud or Gruyères. Vaudois Alps, for example Les Diablerets and Glacier 3000, Leysin, Villars or Château-d’Oex
- Valais Alps, for example Zermatt and Cervin/Matterhorn
- Swiss towns such as Berne, Geneva, Lucerne or Interlaken
- France and Evian with its casino, Chamonix or Annecy
The months of June, July and August are also festival season in French-speaking Switzerland. There are no less than three in July alone:
